A skip link lets someone jump past repeated navigation and go straight to the main part of a page. It is like a short path around the lobby for someone who has already walked through it many times.
Keyboard users can press Tab after opening a page and activate this link instead of moving through every menu item again. It is often hidden until it receives keyboard focus.
Make it visible when needed and send it to the real main content. A skip link is a small feature, but it can save people from repeating the same navigation on every page.
